Report: Jay Harrison signs with Swiss league

The website EVZ.CH reports that defenceman Jay Harrison has agreed to play in Swizterland.for the 2008-09 season.  According to the report, there is an exit clause in Harrison's contract in the event that he is offered a one-way contract by the Leafs before July 15.

 

Harrison is an unrestricted free agent, and has been with the Leafs organization since 2001.  Last season he had 27 points in 69 games for the Toronto Marlies in the regular season, and followed up with 2 goals and 12 points in 18 playoff games.
