So two weeks ago it was almost assured the Raps would make the playoffs and some were talking about catching the Celtics. Now it looks like it'll be a struggle to make the playoffs. Did we get caught up too much in the schedule?

Well, I did want them to go 8-2 during that easy 10-game stretch because I knew some losses were coming.  I didn't know it would be this bad though.  They are still making the playoffs.  They are too deep and strong offensively not to.

Man, Turkoglu really sucks or he is really messed up about his mother (all reports say she's fine now).  Although it's hard to hate that trade (and subsequent signing) because without it, they would have never been able to sign Jarrett Jack.  Wright also came with Turk in that trade.

4 more years of Hedo.

I didn't realize Bargnani was extended, when did that happen?

In the summer.

The Hedo contract is pretty brutal in hindsight.  However, Colangelo's best quality IMO is that he never hesitates to admit his mistakes.  Another year or so of play like this and I'm sure he will trade him.

Finding a taker might not be easy at the dollar amount and term if he continues to play like this.

5th loss in a row and 1-9 in their last 10.

Brutal.

Bosh has said some pretty damning things after both losses on the weekend.  He didn't name names but it's obvious he's talking mostly about Turkoglu and Bargnani.  Turkoglu looks awful.  I hope there is something wrong with him because I didn't think he was this bad a player.  There isn't anything about his game to like.

And it's sacrilege for me to say this but I do truly believe that Jose Calderon is the worst defensive player in the entire NBA.  I love him but man, anyone he's guarding can score at will.

This team infuriates me far more than the Leafs.

Is it safe to say that Hedo is the Raptors answer to Jason Blake?

The team seems to have gone back into the in-fighting mentality they had at the beginning of the year.  That is not a good sign.  Jarret Jack is an incredibly selfish player at times with his desire to try and penetrate on every other possession.  He gets stopped half way to the foul line, runs further away from the net and then throws up a terrible shot.

Jose doesn't play defense.  Bargnani doesn't box out.  Bosh seems to be eating extra buttery popcorn during half-time.  Turkoglu has something very wrong with him at this point.  The bench is all screwed up again.  Everything is falling apart with this team at a time when they should be hitting their stride to prepare for the post-season.  It's not looking good from the Bosh extension standpoint at this point.  Mind you, if this is how the team is going to play down the stretch, blowing this team up isn't the worst thing in the world either.

I''ll be more pissed if they miss the playoffs than if they lose Bosh.

Bosh is a great guy who genuinely loves the city.  He is a really good player.  And I know if he re-signs, Colangelo has to give him a maximum contract.  That's just the way it is and I accept that.

Having said that, I simply cannot accept that a team can win a championship with him as their best player.  If he re-signs, I hope I am wrong but I just don't see it.

I kind of agree, but as of right now, it seems like he is the only one who really cares how well the team is doing. Maybe I value emotion too much, but it's hard not to when guys like Hedo, Andrea, etc show none. He has been great all year as well, with the exception of a few bad games lately, and those happen to be the ones the team has lost. I just can't see them winning much without him for awhile, I guess, depending on what they get back for him. But I kind of do agree in that I can't see him being the best player on a championship team.

BC will do everything to re-sign him, IMO, and then shock everyone by shipping off Hedo and signing Lebron.

Huuuuuge comeback win over the Hawks.  Bosh was struggling all game with his shot, but hit the go ahead jumper with 2 seconds left.

I thought for sure the game was over when Hedo missed the 2nd free-throw.  This win either gets the Raptors back on track or it was a fluke but it should be huge.  The Hawks killed the Raptors in their other meetings.

That was a massive win.  No way in hell did I think they were coming back when they were down 6 with 2 minutes left.  Hawks are a really good team too.
