As per TSN, it looks like Alex Foster, Ben Ondrus, Ryan Hamilton, and Andre Deveaux have been placed on waivers. I guess no real big suprises here..... |

Ondrus is good for veteran leadership with the Marlies. He's been there his entire career and is a decent AHL player who can drop the gloves in defense of his younger teammates.
The Marlies are actually going to have a really good roster and they are going to end up with additional players like Frogren, Gunnarsson, etc.

I hope Ondrus gets picked up.
Why? He's never going to be an NHL regular, but he was the captain of the Marlies last year and the Leafs wouldnt have re-signed him if he didnt bring some kind of value to the organization. You need guys like him. |
