I am really liking OEL. He plays with a bit of snarl, has some offfensive ability and has good hockey IQ. So glad he is a Leaf. I had no idea how good Tanev was. If figured it was all hype where every RHD no currently a Leaf is the best player out there. McCabe is better than I imagined.

I haven't been able to watch but this effort sounds pathetic

I wasn't able to watch much of the game but what I did see, I was concerned that the Leafs were usually not connecting with passes and the shots were missing the net. I think I saw Matthews miss 4 shots and then I saw a stat that he missed 8 at that point in the game. I hope they are learning...

As foolish as the penalty assessments were on that play, we could have lost a great player there who already had a concussion in the playoffs. Where's Reaves??? Oh right...he was given a match penalty and 5 game suspension for making a hit to the head of an opposing player...
