I wouldn't find him as 13th forward. Extremely likeable guy at least. But yeah he's expendable now and much easier to move than Joshua.

Hopefully Paul can re-discover his goal scoring chops yeah. They disappeared after the two against us. Cowan on a line with Paul and Sissons would be interesting.

Interesting. I like this trade. Paul's a good fit for 3C. Makes the Sissons signing even more questionable though. I guess the play is to have a x-Paul-Sissons shutdown line. We're definitely going heavy into the top-6/bottom-6 line-up construction.

A lot of talk about no trade clauses lately. This is a 29-year old 4th liner with 99 NHL games under his belt getting a NMC in one year and a full NTC in another followed by a limited NTC.

Seems reasonable enough.

Two deals that I think probably would have made more sense here. The fit for Roslovic just seems a little more questionable after the Sissons+Blueger deals. Like Domi I don't think he'll be good enough to play with Matthews consistently but not good defensively enough to play on a non-sheltered...

Raddysh, Bob, and Tuch were generally considered the top-3 UFAs a week ago. Like you said though, a pretty shallow pool.

Joshua-Blueger-Duhaime seems like a pretty solid 4th line. Maybe move on from Lorentz. I think that would be a fairly easy contract to trade.

To use a herman term, we got a fasthole. I remember reading up on Duhaime when we got Dewar and he seemed like a really interesting 4th liner. Seems slightly redundant though as a lefty with Joshua and Lorentz here, but maybe that'll get figured out eventually.

Feels notable to pair these guys together. Another one that's slightly more than I thought. edit: after slightly more thought the money on this actually seems fine. The Sissons cost is still a headscratcher though. I don't think he's a 3C but seems like that's what they're expecting him to do...
