Someone who I very much did not exactly expect to be a speedster is Sean Kuraly. If the plan for Laughton is to have him somewhere in the top-9 I think he'd be a solid centre on a forechecking/banger line with guys like Jeannot/Brazeau/Lorentz/Tanev/Pacioretty.

Jeannot would be my preference. A better skater and has PK experience (although only with Nashville). Brazeau probably comes cheaper though and is a right-handed shot which is a bit more of a need even on the 4th line. Would be fine with either really at the right price.

Marchand and Mangiapane feel like the two leading bets there right now. I'd still like to get someone with size (and who knows how to play hockey) like Jeannot or Brazeau too for the 4th line.
