    2025-26 General Trades & Signings

Somewhat related I'd be interested in a Bunting reunion this offseason at the right price. So hopefully he doesn't have a big playoffs.

    McMann to Seattle

Yeah Edmonton was basically the one team that they could have maybe got to overpay for McMann since they're right at the ceiling. Seattle in comparison had $22mil in deadline cap space per PuckPedia.

    McMann to Seattle

Yeah, that's very underwhelming. I think a big thing here is McMann's biggest positive, his low cap hit, wasn't as much of a factor with so many teams swimming in cap space.

    McMann to Seattle

Phew. Seattle has two 1st rounders this year, two next year, and four 2nds in the next two years....

    2025-26 General Trades & Signings

Didn't know much about this guy, but wow he's 6'8", 252 lbs. Had decent offensive stats in small samples prior to this season too.

2025-26 Toronto Maple Leafs General Discussion

Small thing to wonder about with the Leafs and Cowan. Typically I'd be against sending someone who has been a full time NHLer to the AHL for playoffs like this, but considering Cowan's questionable usage throughout the year it might be good to keep him playing.

    2025-26 General Trades & Signings

Not fully out yet, but yeah that'd be a sad way to see Kopitar's career end. Especially after it looked like they might be able to go on a run after getting Panarin.

    2025-26 General Trades & Signings

I was surprised by this but he's having a pretty solid season for a soon-to-be 41 year old. 18 goal, 45 point 82-game pace. Plus all the intangibles+experience.

    Rangers vs. Leafs - Mar. 5th, 7:00pm - TSN4

If anyone can pull this off, it's Berube.

    2025-26 General Trades & Signings

A couple of other late night trades: Carlson leaving Washington is shocking. Wonder if this is just for a playoff run and he goes back on July 1st or if that's just over. Garland's a guy I've wanted since his Arizona days. His age/contract make him a bit of a risk at this point but if the...

    2025-26 General Trades & Signings

I'm sure Buffalo fans are just happy to be in the playoffs but man going from loading up with Colton Parayko to this is quite the gut punch. It doesn't even make all that much sense, Stanley's ok but he's now their 5th lefty.

    Rangers vs. Leafs - Mar. 5th, 7:00pm - TSN4

We really need that top-5 pick to make this all somewhat semi-worth it.

    Nic Roy to Avalanche

Tough to say. Gun to my head I'd say Roy is the better player yeah, but he also has an extra year on his deal so if we're only dealing one that means Roy brings back more value. My heart also says I'd love to see Laughton stick around long-term. He's clearly got the Passion and if he does...

    Nic Roy to Avalanche

Like a lot of players I would have loved to see what Roy could have done under a different coach. Think he had a lot more to give, but the situation we're in meant some players just had to go. Wonder if they circle back on keeping Laughton now.

    Nic Roy to Avalanche

Not bad. Could have maybe wanted a touch more but a 1st is a 1st.

2025-26 Toronto Maple Leafs General Discussion

Dubois injuring Muzzin was basically the beginning of the end for this group. We probably win 3 Stanley Cups if that doesn't happen (kidding, kinda).

2025-26 Toronto Maple Leafs General Discussion

Was surprised to see that Maccelli is tied for 1st on the team in 5-on-5 points over the past 20 games with 8 (tied with Matthews and Domi). That probably says a lot more about how everyone is struggling to score (and that we miss Nylander whenever he's hurt) but still nice to see him producing...

2025-26 Toronto Maple Leafs General Discussion

That's fair. I definitely think Rielly is trade-able to a degree. I mean if he was on waivers someone like San Jose probably grabs him. The bigger issue is his NMC.

2025-26 Toronto Maple Leafs General Discussion

I think the Canucks are such a good fit for Rielly. He's from Vancouver, which might make waiving the NMC easier. The Canucks also just lost Hughes of course and Rielly is like a very, very Temu-version of him. But I think they've got a little bit of rebuilding to do and I dunno if either side...
