2026-27 Toronto Maple Leafs General Discussion | Official: Sundin & Chayka to lead front office

Raddysh, Bob, and Tuch were generally considered the top-3 UFAs a week ago. Like you said though, a pretty shallow pool.

    Leafs sign Brandon Duhaime

Joshua-Blueger-Duhaime seems like a pretty solid 4th line. Maybe move on from Lorentz. I think that would be a fairly easy contract to trade.

    Leafs sign Brandon Duhaime

To use a herman term, we got a fasthole. I remember reading up on Duhaime when we got Dewar and he seemed like a really interesting 4th liner. Seems slightly redundant though as a lefty with Joshua and Lorentz here, but maybe that'll get figured out eventually.

It sounded like he didn't want to go west.

Leafs sign Colton Sissons and Teddy Blueger

Feels notable to pair these guys together. Another one that's slightly more than I thought. edit: after slightly more thought the money on this actually seems fine. The Sissons cost is still a headscratcher though. I don't think he's a 3C but seems like that's what they're expecting him to do...

Leafs sign Colton Sissons and Teddy Blueger

Like the player, but that's significantly more than I expected. Guess it's just the centre market.

Sergei Bobrovsky is a Maple Leaf

Big question now: who wears #72 next season?

    2026-27 General Trades & Signings

Interesting bet. Levi was pretty highly touted as a goalie prospect at one point. Toronto and Edmonton going in opposite directions to address their goaltending in their next two do-or-die seasons.

Sergei Bobrovsky is a Maple Leaf

From what I can see Bob missed like a dozen games due to injury throughout his 7 year contract with Florida.

Sergei Bobrovsky is a Maple Leaf

I was worried about term mostly, so getting him for 3 years is great. I think he'll definitely bounce back and provide solid, reliable (this is key considering how our goalies have held up physically lately) goaltending for at least another 2 years. And that's the big window we're obviously...

Vegas' cap situation meant that they couldn't sign him until July 1st:

    That's a bit of a steal.

    Leafs sign Jack Roslovic

Roslovic's a bit of a speedster too. 76th percentile in max skating speed, 97th percentile in 22+ mph bursts, 91st percentile in 20-22 mph bursts last season. An element that's been badly missing on the team recently.

    Leafs sign Jack Roslovic

I'd say it's doubtful Roslovic plays centre (except to cover for injuries perhaps).

    Nick Robertson traded to Pittsburgh

Right or wrong a large part of this fanbase has lowered their overall opinion on Robertson long before this trade happened.
  16. CarltonTheBear

    Leafs sign Jack Roslovic

Roslovic didn't make a lot of sense for a team with Robertson, Maccelli, and Domi all on it. Now though he makes a ton of sense. Especially as a right-handed shot. Being long-time friends with Matthews sure doesn't hurt either.

There will definitely be bonuses that pushes it well above that.
