Qualifying offers are due today by 5pm, so expect news of those soon. Any other minor re-signings can be posted here as well.

Toronto's RFAs are S. Carrick, Holland, Corrado, Marincin, Sparks, Leivo, C. Carrick, Percy, C. Smith. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sam Carrick cut loose.

Mirtle tweeted that we could see some surprising names not qualified. Both for the Leafs and league wide.

Holland maybe?

Holland and Percy would be my guess.

There were some rumours about Smith heading to Europe, so, I wouldn't be shocked if he's not qualified, either.

That would surprise me. He must have some value as a trade piece going forward, I would imagine.

Biggs didn't receive a qualifying offer from Pittsburgh, which isn't surprising but still funny nonetheless. Even funnier? They didn't even spell his name right in the press release that mentioned it ("Tyer Biggs").

Not much, IMO.  He's pretty much your average bottom 6 forward.

Lets hope we can trade some of these guys packaged for a draft pick or two. We have spent on heck of long time trying to develop Percy and Carrick.

www.CapFriendly.com has the Leafs at 35/50 SPCs.  That seems low.

http://www.generalfanager.com/teams/toronto-maple-leafs has them at 36/50 so I guess it must be right.

Carrick should be cut loose.  I wouldn't be shocked if someone like Holland, Leivo or Percy doesn't get qualified.  Not because I don't think they are not deserving of a QO but it might be a bodies issue.

Sam Carrick, I'm assuming? I wouldn't imagine he's re-signed. I'd imagine Percy won't be either.

Twitterverse is saying Sparks and Marincin have been qualified. No surprises there.

Those are the only two I've seen so far. Something might shake loose from other teams too.

Jeremy Morin, who was dealt in the Reimer trade to SJS, has not been qualified. Justin Schultz (PIT) has also not been qualified.

Schultz is a bit of a unique case though in that he was being paid way more than he deserved and any qualifying offer would have exacerbated that.

Yeah, PITs might re-sign him still, as he's quite happy there and they know how to use him.
