ARI trades Keith Yandle to NYR

@TSNBobMcKenzie: Girardi never part of Yandle deal. Main components believed to be Yandle, Chris Summers to NYR. ARI gets Duclair, Moore, 1st rder plus pick.

John Moore, not Dom.

Great deal for the Coyotes.

DuClair and Domi in the future plus a top 3 pick this year and another 2 1st rounders this year (NYR and CHI).

I really like what they're doing and they're probably not even one yet.

Love McKenzie subtly calling out Kypreos  there.

That's a great return for Arizona. Rangers are really going all in though. In the past year they've given up 3 first rounders and their best prospect for St. Louis and Yandle. St. Louis is a UFA this offseason, Yandle the next.

If ARI gets Duclair, John Moore, 2016 1st rder then it's not a bad year plus rental for the Rangers. Neither Duclair nor Moore strike me as having Yandle's potential. ARI got a couple of decent young players but not ones that blow me away.

Leafs could be paid something to take D Boyle's contract now

Rangers give up Duclair, Moore, a 1st and a 2nd. Arizona's loading up on youth/picks. A chance at McDavid and Eichel this season, plus they'll likely finish bottom-2 next season as well.

I think DuClair is a pretty great prospect. The Rangers trading away multiple 1st round picks and now their best prospect......they'd better win it all cause it's gonna be a pretty bleak roster in a few years.

I'm a little concerned with Duclair's size

Well, this is the time for them: Lundqvist, Nash, St Louis, etc ain't getting any younger.

What a top four: McDonagh (have really liked him), Girardi, Staal and Yandle ..

He's close to 6'0 and is still only 19. I wouldn't be concerned about his size. His speed and his hands are very high end.

It is a great top 4, but Yandle is pretty suspect in the D-zone.

Some Eastern teams will definitely have to respond to this move.

I'm not sure that defence is necessarily better than last season when they had Stralman, but Yandle probably does serve more of a need as an offensive defencemen.

If I'm Nonis I'm talking to the islanders about Kessel. They're the one team that might be interested that actually has top notch assets other than late first round picks.

Interesting that for all the talk about how Nonis maybe jumped the gun on dealing Franson it sure looks like nobody is really all that inclined to wait until tomorrow to make moves.

I'm not sold on Duclair. I don't think he'll be a bust, but I don't think he'll be much more than a pretty ordinary 2nd/3rd line type. Part of me feels the Yotes might have been able to get more if they held off on the deal until the draft.
