Weird how a guy like Wilson is always the victim of other players' heads getting in his way.

Boy, I really don't see what they're seeing. This makes the Doughty suspension even more ridiculous. Wilson's was 100% all head contact.

I see the NHL is trying to discipline according to perceived intention... but you still need to assign punitive responses based on the result as well. e.g. unintentional high stick, unintentional puck over the glass, etc.

and he did a VERY similar thing in the Columbus series.

Need a different angle. I don't see anything conclusive there regarding the head as initial/main contact point.
OV scored a beauty to get the win for Washington.

What does your seeing eye/service dog think?

I think it?s initially shoulder, but that?s just a passing contact, because Wilson drives up and through that shoulder contact straight into head contact.

The first Wilson hit to Dumoulin was clearly a hit to the head.  He definitely looked like that was his aiming point (elbow-like).

The second one on Aston- Reese was also a head hit, though at first he looks like he's aiming for the guy's chest/shoulder, but upon closer inspection, he (Wilson) knew exactly what he was aiming for.

This Tom Wilson is one dirty (fill in the blank).

I mean, cool, but, this doesn't really change the general perception that DOPS is basically just spinning a wheel.
