That is one banged up lineup in NJ...these are tough games in that if they win, they should've won anyway.  If they lose, it's a disaster.

I guessing we arent going to see Reimer any more until a Back-to-Back. Sad that Komarov is out. I still dont get how OV did not get suspended or fined.

lets hope the good team comes out tonight.

Go leafs Go

Some stats to note: NJ has the 4th worst PK in the league, and is the 6th lowest scoring team. They're also 0-3-2 in their last 5 games.

Might be a good one for Reimer to get back in.

That's what I thought too, but there's a back-to-back next week so if Reimer starts tonight it means he would be playing 2 of the next 4 games. That's waaaaaayyyy too much for the guy, you know.

The Devils are hurting. It's a good opportunity to continue proving that we're a different team this year and not give up a let down game playing down to weakened opponent. Let's put this one away early, and improve offensive zone time.

All signs that say the Leafs should win, which often means they'll play one of their worst games.

Winnik is likely. Komarov is questionable. He took part in the skate this morning, but, it was his first time on the ice since Saturday night.

Our recent history is not good in relation to winning games that we should win, such as tonights opponent. So we have played down to teams that either play over their heads or want to win in T.O.  So the test tonight with this new squad, this new apparent chemistry, is to see if we have a real team in the making or just another retreaded squad.

Ok, still hoping that he plays

It's happened too many times, dude. These Leafs have a tendency to play down to the level of their competition.

Or below.

Under the shimmer of the DAL game lurked the fundamental weaknesses of this team, primarily on defense.  Unless they get those fixed, they can be exploited by any team in the league at any given time.

With the parity of the league what it is now you could really say that about any team.

Sure they can.
So I should expect one soft goal by Bernier.
As long as they score first we should be fine.
