Devils @ Leafs - Oct. 11th, 7:30pm - SN, Fan 590

Man that 5 on 3 was embarrassing. Hope the Leafs have another comeback in them, but it's not looking good. Team seems so flat tonight.

Perhaps a let down after the Chicago game, coupled with not taking New Jersey seriously.

Not a great goal there by Andersen.

EDIT; Nope, my bad, I didn't see the redirect.

EDIT; Nope, I was right the first time.  :P

Take a seat Rosen, not to punish him, but that's two goals directly on him and it looks like his confidence is shot.

I don't recall Marincin having two of those in one game and we crucified him for his occasional brain fart.

Thing with him and it was the same last year I find he's either hot or cold. I'd be pulling him, why leave him in. but why is a guy standing in front of the net. Borgmann letting the guy screen get him out of there.

Andersen hasn't been good tonight but previously he was better than his (admittedly lousy) sv%.

And really, he didn't give up that shorty.

Yeah, the D has been exposed pretty good tonight.  Pairing the rookies probably not the best idea as well.

And as Millen said, give NJ credit.  They have been by far the better team, and not just Schneider.

I think Nylander's my MotM choice -- so far.

Rielly has really been skating well too IMO.

Switch goalies between teams, and what's the outcome?

Rosen gave up two goals and they gave up a 3 on 5, all of which weren't Andersen's fault, pinning this on him isn't right.

So that's probably the answer then.  When goaltending starts to get questioned, sometimes it helps to ask that question.
