EDM trades Bryz to MIN, acquires Victor Fasth from ANA

Hmm, the value between Fasth and Bryz isn't that large here. And Fasth is signed for another season.

Well, Fasth has played all of 10 games this season between both the NHL and AHL. He has a lower body issue that doesn't seem to be healing all that well.

All the decent-ish goalies available and this is what they choose?

I'd guess that the decent goalies available have a pretty high asking price.

Kuemper's playing very well for them. This is more about depth/insurance than anything else.

I only remembered him from his play last season. Didn't realize he was having a tough go of things this season. If he isn't able to at least be a 1A/B goalie next season then the Oilers are going nowhere again.

bradyfan590: Told by Wild source Minny made an approach to Leafs to acquire James Reimer earlier today. Doesn't mean there was a fit but they talked.

mirtle: Sounds like Wild kicked tires on every goalie available and quickly made a low cost move. Wonder where there's fit for Halak etc. now?

What the hell.  I don't check the interwebs for an hour and a half and when I get back half of Anaheim has been traded.
