I find myself cheering for Van in this series. Always hated them but I like some of their young players now. Another big win to go up 2-0. Hard to believe that St. Louis is 0-5 so far in the bubble.

They aren't the annoying team of 2011 anymore. They've got a lot of plucky young talent and it's just more fun to root for the underdog.

Vancouver knocking off the defending champs was also not on my bingo card for this year.
Unlike the past Van teams, this one is very likeable. Don't know how far they'll go but they're fun to watch.

In a league full of mediocre teams, mediocre teams will get knocked out in the first round and a mediocre team will win the cup.

If I'm a Blues fan I'm not happy with Berube and his decision to go with Binnington, who clearly didn't have it this year. I just don't know what Berube was thinking putting him back in net. He hadn't won in 4 games. Had a SV% of .861 and GAA of 4.25. He finished this years playoffs with a sparkling 0-5 record GAA of 4.72 and .851 SV%. Allen on the other hand finished with a 2-1 record, 1.89 GAA and .935 SV%.

Are the Blues a mediocre team or did Binnington have a bad playoffs?

I think both.
