A team that had zero shot at being 1st in the conference vs. a team that had no shot at being 8th in the conference. The NHL!

Boston def gets ripped off here, not that I care. Habs get the benefit of playing an "easier" opponent. I thnk the Flyers shoul win it.

Well that?s scary. Hope he gets well soon

also karma. Gallagher's a goon.

this series is so hard for me. I hate the Flyers and I hate the Habs. I don't care who wins as long as they beat each other up so much the next round will be easier for their eventual opponent.

No call.
Gallagher is gone for the series. He needs surgery to fix his broken jaw. Not a Habs fan but that's BS. Break a guys jaw with a vicious crosscheck and only get 1 game.

What's the play here? Is he trying to suggest Gallagher isn't as injured as Montreal is suggesting?

He said yesterday that he thought Gallagher seemed fine and described the injury as a "hockey play that unfortunately cut him a little bit". But at least that was before Montreal announced that he was out of the series with a broken jaw.

Ah gotcha he was trying to suggest his injury was because he was yapping, not the cross check to the face that he took.

Hmmm... ok... this might explain a little:

The coach of Derek Stepan's New York Rangers at the time of these comments was... Alain Vigneault.

Hes going to dig that one up from that long ago? Really?

Probably deserved the win last night but not sad they're out. Philly/Isles should be a real yawnfest. No interest in that series at all while the 2 best teams will be battling it out. I hope the NHL sticks with the 1 vs 8 moving forward.
