Game 80: Maple Leafs @ Buffalo, 7:00pm, Stop Getting Points!

Buffalo playoffs hopes gain a huge bonus as Washington suffer a 4-2 lost against Tampa last night.

Buffalo also has a game in hand over the Capitals and could tie then in points for the race once the Leafs ran... (Capitals hold the tie break)

The Leafs now hold the 6th overall pick and that can be as low as 3rd overall and as high as 10th overall.

Is that hard to not show up for 60 minutes tonight ?

They actually sit on the 5th overall pick currently. Anaheim wins the tiebreaker.

The Leafs could still finish as high as tenth.  >:(

I really do not wish anything bad for Scrivens.... I wish Gus was playing.... but I still want them to lose each of the last 3 games.

Hope Kessel has a better effort during tonight's national anthems.

Maybe this time he'll be focused during the anthem (when it counts) and yawn instead of scoring during the game.

I would like to see Kessel push closer to 40. I don't think it's a huge deal that he gets there but it would be nice to see. Go Buffalo, go Kessel!

Count me in. I'd also love both to happen. I have a funny feeling that the Leafs will win their remaining three games and finishing outside the top 8 for the draft though. So maybe cheering for Kessel to hit 40 is all we have left this season.  :'(

Hitting 40 probably adds another million or so to his next deal, so screw that.

Yawn away, my friend! Yawn away!

It was mentioned in a Toronto Sun article today that the Leafs have never
swept Buffalo in a home and home since returning to the Eastern Conference in 1998.

Another way of saying "history will be made" tonight... :P
