CLB lost in regulation yesterday soooo who knows at this point ?!?!?

A win tonight would technically put the Leafs one point ahead of Columbus and into a playoff spot, but they would still have two games in hand and the potential tie-breaker. Playoffs certainly aren't impossible but we need to reply on Columbus losing more than they win.

edit: Should also point out that if Toronto and New Jersey both win out the Devils will finish ahead of Toronto, so they're another team to keep a close eye on.

Devils lost Elias, that should help

And, doesn't Columbus actually get spotted a goal for one of their remaining games?

I mean, even if Reimer doesn't continue to let in weak goals at the beginning of each of these games and they some how win all 4, I'm betting 'BIG' Toronto falls short on making it.

These are the situations we talk about all season long, about how every single point is so valuable come playoff time. Well folks, we're at that spot, and we're essentially out of the running by just a few points.

Columbus without Foligno the rest of the season.

The most important game of the year
Must win
Do or die
Play hard

Last home game

Screw it. Get out played. Out coached. Just pull a rabbit out of the hat when all is said and done.

There's speculation out there that Evander Kane will be a healthy scratch tonight. Man, some smart GMs are going to get steals if he and Yakupov become available for trade this summer.

Tonight: Carlyle's last game behind the home bench at the ACC.

Here's hoping. I mean, unless he ends up coaching one of the non-Leaf games that are sometimes held at the ACC. He can be back behind the home bench for one of those, maybe, I guess.
