Not a surprise, but finally gets done. Joe put up 51 points in 73 games last season and turned 40 years old this July.
This will be his 22nd season in the NHL.
He's 73 games behind Dave Andreychuk for 8th on the all-time games played list. Needs just 14 assists to pass Adam Oates for 7th all-time. Currently 14th in all-time points and has a chance to pass Paul Coffey and Mark Recchi if he scores in the mid-50s.
