Justin Bourne joins Marlies coaching staff

Bourne's a former minor league player turned writer. He often uses his experiences as a former pro in his writing to help get his points across. I've been following him on twitter and reading his articles at the Score for a long time now, he seems like a very knowledgeable hockey guy.

His official role is "Video Coach", which if you've ever read his system analyst posts over at the Score you'll know if a perfect fit for him. In those he breaks down a goal or a play almost moment-by-moment to show exactly what went wrong or what went right. They're very well done.

Now that that is out of the way, I'm not entirely surprised.  Bourne had stated that Keefe/Dubas interviewed him for a spot with the Soo Greyhounds when they were there so there was already some sort of connection in place.
