LA
?Jonathan Quick (8-7-2, 3.33 GAA, .888 Sv%) will likely start for the Kings
?LA hasn't won back to back games since November 12th when they finished up a 4 game winning streak. They're coming off a 5-2 win over the sens on Tuesday

TOR
?Ilya Samsonov (7-2-0, 2.09 GAA, .924 Sv%) will likely start for the Maple Leafs
?The Leafs didn't practice yesterday, so no word on any potential line-up changes. The big one to keep an eye on will be who comes in on D in place of Mete. It's probably a little unlikely Brodie is ready to return yet so expect Hollowell to come in and for a righty to play on the left side
                                                                            Streams

Keefe/Chynowyth was rotating through some double-righty combos the past couple of games (re-balancing after special teams); so with how much the Leafs move around offensively, it's not a big deal in the OZ. It's a bit trickier on the DZ side; while covering the centre lane is easier when a D plays weak-side, it's harder along the boards as it forces them onto the backhand when under-duress. Liljegren had many notable giveaways last season when he was trying to push the play up the left wall and his backhand passes were easily rushed/picked off.

Malgin's also in for SDA, who was sent down to make room on the roster for Brodie.

If Keefe had his druthers, the D group would be
Brodie - Brodie
Brodie - Brodie
Brodie - Brodie

I'd also like an explanation why LA's logo doesn't have a bit more blackspace padding around their LA.

More like

Brodie - Holl
Giordano - Holl
Giordano - Brodie

Love the fact that Brodie is back in the lineup. Not sure why they needed to add the little jab?

The Leafs went 9-0-3 without Brodie in the lineup.

This is an important stat  ?why?

Because they went on a great run despite not having him.  I don't see that as a jab, more just an impressive statement.  The Leafs should be better with him back in the lineup.

Good to hear Brodie is back, that 3rd pair with Hollowell-Timmins was looking a bit sketchy

It's also pretty standard practice to bring up those numbers when a player returns for a mid-term injury like Brodie.

Lol. It just strikes me as being an odd stat to publish. Can you imagine this being the case outside of sports. Lets say a sales manager went on disability, and when he came back, in the staff room they posted just the sales numbers since his replacement took over? look at our sales record without you here. So much better numbers. Oh and welcome back!
