Line-up Notes

TOR
?Bernier likely starts for Toronto, although confirmation will come in the morning
?Percy was called up from the Marlies, likely just as insurance with the back-to-back
?No line changes at practice on Thursday, although it's within the realm of possibility that Ash... haha jk he's probably sitting

CBJ
?Curtis McElhinney (2 GS, 0-1, 4.83 GAA, .863 SA%) likely starts for Columbus
?Injury problems continue to get worse, as the Blue Jackets lost Letestu and Wisniewski in their last game
?Looking on the bright side, Nick Foligno will likely return from his neck injured, which he incurred after a freak collison with a linesman
?Despite missing training camp, Ryan Johansen has a point in all 9 games so far this season

Would be nice to see them take advantage of the injury to Bob.

I'll be hoping for a big game from Kadri and Lupul, to get them going. If they start scoring (somewhat consistently), the Leafs will be a much harder team to defend against.

what a train wreck of injuries, agreed that Kadri and Lupul if scoring regularly that it will open it up for everyone else. Lets hope we win and get a streak going.

:( working tonight. Will miss this one. Argh! They said they'd be playing Wednesday and Saturday nights so I told work to not schedule me for those nights....and this is like the 4th Thursday or Friday night game now, thanks a bunch  >:(

anyway, no bears tonight... (I bet not everyone's sad about that :)  )

Sometimes these badly injured teams are harder to play than they seem, as they're stocked with guys who might not be as talented, but who you can bet are going to play their hearts out.  It's a good opportunity to build a winning streak, but the Leafs have to be ready to at least match the energy.  Should be a good one to watch!

Hendrick says "looks like Stuart Percy will be in the lineup", maybe they are going with 7D.

What a stupid notion.  The 7d thing just creates confusion in the defence pairings.  And while Percy was a pleasant surprise he was not so good that he was absolutely a necessity to get in the lineup.

He is better suited as the Penguin or Frankensteiner

He would be a great Frankenstein. He's too ugly to be spiderman (even though your not supposed to see his face).

I hate to be that guy, but this is Frankenstein:

And this is Fankenstein's monster:

Besides, I hear Phaneuf is dressing up as a $7M, top-pairing NHL defenseman tonight, if you can believe that.
