Truth be told Leafs have been much the better team for the past period+.

From late in the 1st, really. They were awful for the first 12 minutes or so, but have played well since.

I dont know why the telecast keep saying this was like the Van game where Toronto didn't have much going. The Van game was atrocious, this one was not nearly as bad apart from portions of the first.

I think this is one of the better games I can remember in terms of overall defense by our forwards.  They are disrupting passes, stripping pucks, outhustling the Habs to loose pucks, and winning puck battles.  And 88 very much included in all of that.  But all 4 lines, really.

Brodie has been such a stabilizer back there.  Solid almost all the time.
For sure.

And Bogosian has been honestly totally fine. It almost sounded like he'd be a depth defenseman on a bad team at best when he was signed, but you really couldn't ask for much more than how he's played.

This is Justin Holl libel by omission

It's so refreshing to not have any punching bags on the defence.

That last shift he made about 3 good plays.
