Line-up Notes

TOR
?4 non-B2B games in a row, it'll be interested to see how the goalie situation plays out, I'm guessing Bernier gets the start
?Leafs have Carrick and Percy along for this road trip, Carrick is expected to play

ARI
?Mike Smith (2-6, 3.84 GAA, .873 SA%) will likely start for the Coyotes
?Arizona just sent down Justin Hodgman, a former Marlie who made his NHL debut at the age of 26 and scored in his 1st game, unfortunately it wasn't enough to stick around once some injured bodies returned
?2010's 13th overall draft pick Brandon Gormley has been called up by Phoenix, he's played just 5 NHL games to this point and a lot of Coyotes fans aren't crazy with how Tippett has handled him, will be interesting to see if/how he plays

Injuries

?Brandon Kozun - Lower Body - Injured Reserve
?David Booth - Foot - Injured Reserve
?Joffrey Lupul - Hand - Injured Reserve
Code:

?David Moss - Upper Body - Injured Reserve

9:00 is my warm-cup-of-milk-in-bed time though.

Should be a good contingent of Leafs fans at this one I would imagine.

I will attempt to watch the game, but the likely hood of that is probably slim to nil. I dislike the western road trips

My valium has me knodding by 9.  Yeh will watch Redleafs game in 6 upon rising.

Heh. I was back in Ontario a few weeks ago for a week for the first time in 15+ years. On game days I was looking for a way to get to a TV at 4 PM. This having to wait for 7 PM was a PITA.  :D It finished the whole evening off whereas I would be still occupied at about 6:30-7 PM on the Wet Coast.

Didn't like it at all......

I could never do West Coast time, specifically because of sports. I did a summer internship in Oregon one summer, it was awful having baseball game start at 4 during the week and then 10am on the weekend.  I loved living out there, but having no options of sports after 9pm local time is a no go.  Will never move further west than the central time zone.  Much prefer eastern time though.

Two 9pm starts right after Daylight Savings kinda sucks.. At most I'm going to catch the 1st period.. or be totally messed up the next day.

Sigh. Probably the latter, let's face it.

I detest western road trips. I'm not even going to attempt the 3am face off time.

I might try and avoid the game result and watch it in full tomorrow evening.

You are all a bunch of babies haha. Growing up in Scotland the regular puck drop time was midnight.
I watch the games in New Zealand.  Todays game is on 3pm Wednesday (we are already in your tomorrow) but the usual 7pm games are on around midday here.

It's best just to be honest with yourself.

I did the 9 and 10 AM starts in Australia for 2 years.  9 AM on a Sunday morning for HNIC after a night out was not fun.

Carlyle hints that Reimer might start: "If people perform to a high level it's hard not to go back to them."

You could just as easily argue that Bernier could start on that term though coming off his Columbus effort.  Quite frankly, I hope they split these two games.  I'm fine with Bernier being the #1, I just think it should be more of a 50/32 kind of split at most and not a Bernier 60/Reimer 20 kind of split.
