I won't be able to watch this game :( I was hoping to see what all the Hanafin-hype was about. #noregrets

This one is huge.  You can't overstate the importance, as a truly significant milestone of this team's development, of going into a hockey hotbed on a Friday night in November and bringing your A-game ? not just on offense, not just on defense, not just in net, but in that effective mixture of all facets of the game that separates the contenders from the pretenders.  If they can't get up for this, then they don't deserve to wear that storied sweater, that symbol of enduring greatness, that buoys up millions around the globe.

For a second I was genuinely puzzled by why Jeff Skinner would be on the third line but then I looked at what he's done recently and, well, not puzzled no more.

Time to switch to decaf.

You know, with his contract I wonder if there would be a bit of a possibility of buying low there.

He is talented, maybe he needs a change of scenery.

Yikes, 4 points in 18 games after 31 in 77 last season.

He had a concussion last season or the year before, no?  Wonder if that's affecting him still.

Possibly, but I'd also be very concerned that the concussions and other injuries have really taken their toll here. That's a pretty hefty contract to take on in the hopes that a change of scenery will spark a resurgence.

If they're taking Lupul back as part of the deal then sure, but otherwise yeah that's probably too big of a risk to take considering his own health issues.

I prefer our current glass cannon.

Two very nice thwarts there by Komarov.

Good stick by him. But I've never seen a team cough the puck up like that twice on a 5-on-3. Just terrible decision making by the Canes there.

It's the black unis.  Can we all at least agree they should be banned?  And did I just see the Isles in deep mournng?
