It feels like Tavares isn?t really having a great year.  He?s still on a 34 goal pace and just below PPG pace.

It feels like Tavares isn?t really having a great year.  He?s still on a 34 goal pace and just below PPG pace.

Ray mentioned that he's on his career average scoring pace, but that his year seemed "quieter."  To judge by our MotM voting, he's right.

It's not so much his scoring pace, but he's been a liability defensively and takes plenty of shifts off.

There's also the fact that he's getting paid $11 million and doesn't really seem like he's that level of player.

Edit: The AAV of his salary is in the top 5 in the league, which is a little nuts.
