Matthews after hearing about his suspension said he Kallgren and bear it, and then looked at the calendar and said Saros is the real victim here.

Clifford over Robertson on that fourth line seems like an interesting choice.
I mean there's no reason to play Robertson on the 4th line. He won't thrive there.

Because of the minutes?  Kerfoot and Spezza would be decent enough line mates to help him generate chances.  He just wouldn't be playing that much compared to the other lines.  He would also be an option for a second power play unit, so that might be an area where he could pick up some extra time.  Of course that would mean that the Leafs actually get a power play.

I don?t actually hate it.  Ask me in January and I was annoyed that he even was on our depth chart but the last two games Clifford has been creating stuff with his physicality.  Robertson has potential but still seems to get knocked off the puck way too easily

It also wouldn?t shock me if Robertson is part of a trade package of the Leafs are contemplating a big move.

Myers on waivers today. Good thing we don?t have to face him, whoever he is.

Edit: wait is this Philippe Myers, 25 year old 6?5? RD?

Travis Dermott, playing his final game as a Leaf, fires one on net.

BTW, if this is true, we should take a minute to acknowledge that he's a decent defenseman.  A 2nd rounder who turned out.  I hope they can get a good return for him.

Yeah I?m fine with trading him but he?s in a different tier than things like giving Barabanov a chance to stick in the NHL
