TSN was saying Lupul is 10-12 days away from a possible return.  He's skating hard, but still not shooting.

Looks like it's Myers and a goalie against the world.

For me, there's a whole lot of "who?" in that Buffalo lineup.

Agreed, but I think other teams might do well the cherry pick a few of the underperformers there. Anthony Stewart is one guy that looks worth taking a risk on as his contract gets lighter, and I don't figure Buffalo has any interest in re-signing him for next year. Same with Drew Stafford. These guys are bound to be better out of buffalo.

He made a real impact when he retuned from his broken wrist, I'm hoping for more of the same this time around.

Which d-man is hurt now? I heard the Leafs have recalled Holzer on an emergency basis for this game.

Franson was shaken up.  Polak hurt his hand last night too.  I think it was just a precaution though.  The Marlies played in Rochester last night and so he stuck around for insurance purposes.  He'll be sent back down tomorrow night.

Marlies leave on an extended road trip as well so if they needed someone they wouldn't be available. Purely precautionary.

Yes, it's precautionary, Holzer is a scratch.

Early lines look like:
JvR - Bozak - Kessel
Winnik - Kadri - Leivo
Panik - Holland - Clarkson
Santorelli - Smith - Komarov

I think the lines have just been screwy because of bad half-line changes.  Santoelli is playing with Smith and Komarov now on a line.  The lines are all random.

Thanks. Just caught it and edited during a stream delay.

The Leafs have played really poorly so far.  Way too open.  This is how you get bad habits in play that would get you blown out against an actual NHL team.
