Switch the Anderse/ons and how are those records different? A goalie having a great year covers up a lot.

I don't think it's a close game tonight. Given Andersen's comments and the coach's reply to those comments, either the Leafs respond and absolutely hammer the Sens tonight, or it goes the other way and they lose convincingly. We won't be seeing another OT tonight.

I?m glad nobody on the team went to the media to tell Andersen to make a save in October.  I don?t care for guys going to the press to air out grievances.  Do it behind closed doors.

I don't agree.  First, he was right.  Second, in the absence of a captain there is no one player that can give their perspective on what needs to be done.  Third, it was something that Babcock had to react to, rather than just tell everyone he's the decider so STFU.  Nothing wrong with it IMO.

Sure but what is Babcock doing differently.  Marner on the 4th line again.  Borgman in if Rielly is out.  Nothing is going to change with the lines staying the same and the playing style taking away the strengths of the team.

Well Festivus came a little late this year.  Freddy began The Airing of Grievances.  Next up, Roman Polak will challenge Mitch Marner to The Feats of Strength.

Ya Freddy wasn't very good in October, but has been really good since.  Maybe the team needed a veteran to speak up.  Who knows.  I guess we'll see tonight how they respond.

I don't know what to expect from the team tonight. Overall they seem to be thinking too much out there (and I include the coaching staff in this, with all the line matching and playing the "gud pros" at the expense of others), especially late in games and OT. This leads to indecision and mistakes. Until they get it sorted out, I expect a lot of games like the last 4.

Nothing, yet.  But if nobody challenges him, nothing ever will.  Anyway, I see no harm.  Hopefully the players will take what he says and make something positive of it.  At least Matthews seemed to be saying that, and Marner.

I predict a leafs win, and Andersen will be outstanding!

I see the same thing. After that locker room talk, I'm hoping they came to the conclusion that it's time to stop overthinking and pull it together now. Time for some true Leaf confidence again.
