Lebron James a Free Agent

Suck it, Miami!

Leiweke...this would be the biggest legacy in Toronto sports if you do this.  Get on it!

(Yes, I know the chances are remote)

I am thinking the same thing. Highly unlikely. Maybe even less than that. But if Leiweke wants to make a name for himself in Toronto that will last for a very long time then this is the guy right here.

I don't really follow basketball anymore, but do the Raps even have a chance at this guy? Like, would he even play in Canada?

He likes the city, has said as much and has spent some time here in the off-season(mainly for Caribana). That said, it's pretty unlikely considering everyone has said that they think that his primary motivation is to get right back into the title hunt and, great as he is, I don't think him on the Raptors turns them into a team capable of challenging the Spurs or Thunder.

I wouldn't get my hopes up, because to sign here Lebron would have to turn down better chances to win and places where he could make more of a media impact(and the resulting cash), but crazier things have happened.

The going gets tough and LeBron jumps ship.  I don't blame him because Miami is about to be a disaster of a franchise for a long time again AND the fanbase kind of sucks.

I wouldn't 100% say that this means that he's leaving Miami. There's been a lot of talk recently about how he might opt out and resign a cheaper deal so that the Heat would have more room under the cap to add the sort of depth that would keep them from becoming the disaster you talk about.

This is going to set off some crazy movement. Hard to imagine Bosh won't take the Rockets offer now and there are reports out of Cleveland that the Cavs are now willing to offer Andrew Wiggins to the Timberwolves in an attempt to bring Kevin Love into the mix.

This is great for the Cavs, but bad news for the Raps. The Cavs are now easily the favourite in the East and that will be the team the Raptors are chasing.

As for Wiggins, he could turn out to be the biggest loser in all this. Coming perilously close to being able to play with LeBron to being banished to Minnesota.

In LeBron's mini essay he posted on CNNSI, he mentioned Irving, Thompson and Varejo. He didn't mention Wiggins or Bennett who are probably both on their way to Minny for Love.

I guess. I don't know how much worse it is for the Raps that the Cavs will be really good as opposed to the Heat being really good.

Well, or is it better for Wiggins to go to a place like Minnesota and get to play with a relatively decent supporting cast rather than have James maybe blocking him at his natural position?

Some dominoes are already falling. The Rockets are saying they expect Bosh to agree to a deal and will match the offer sheet Dallas offered Chandler Parsons which means that to free up cap space they're apparently trading Jeremy Lin and a first round pick to the Lakers.

I thought the lebron decision would have caused Bosh to go too

Wow. Bosh a max player without Lebron? Miami is looking to save face in a big way.
