Yeah, its too bad he faces Djokovic in the quarters.  Milos has been playing well, but he's going to have to be at his absolute best to beat Nole.

Federer is 4-0 against Milos. Last meeting was the round of 16 at the 2013 Aussie Open.

Yeah I'm hoping he can do it, but it won't be easy.  Federer's best surface is grass and he's playing well this tournament.  Would be a huge accomplishment if he takes down the king.

It would be huge if Milos can take out the guy who has 7 Wimbledon titles. Could be just the breakthrough he needs.

Looks like that ended in a hurry. Federer with what appeared to be an easy straight sets win over Raonic, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. The last two sets were 4-4 until Raonic was broken to go down 5-4.

Slightly disappointed, but not surprised - he still needs to get over the hurdle of starting to win against the top 4 a bit more regularly. Good showing, though.

Milos time will come.  Even if he had beaten Federer, he would have been up against (Novak)Djokovic.  It would have been kind of tough beating two of the best in Men's tennis.  Still, good run, Milos!

Raonic beat Pospisil in the Citi Open to win his 6th career tournament.  He also moves up to 6th in the World Rankings.  This was the first time two Canadians have met in a finals match.

Milos is definitely movin' on up!  Congrats!

Milos Raonic,  a.k.a. "The Maple Leaf Missile," will be the first Canadian in history to be invited to the ATP World Finals,  to be held in London.

Raonic, by defeating Roger Federer in the semifinal in the ATP Masters event,  eventually losing in the final to Novak Djokovic, earned Milos the invite.

The ATP World Finals will be held at some point this month.

Way to go, Milos!
