Ahead of the Toronto Maple Leafs home opener at Air Canada Centre, the club will honour four alumni in a special ceremony. Bronze statues honouring Charlie Conacher, Red Kelly, Frank Mahovlich and Wendel Clark will be unveiled on Leafs Legends Row Thursday evening in front of family, friends, and fans. These four alumni will join Ted Kennedy, Darryl Sittler, Johnny Bower, Borje Salming, George Armstrong, Syl Apps, Mats Sundin, Dave Keon, Turk Broda and Tim Horton on Leafs Legends Row.
Unveiled in 2014, Leafs Legends Row is a tribute to the great men that Leafs Nation was built on and a shrine dedicated to preserving their legacy. Since its installation, the bronze statues have become a must-see destination for visitors to Toronto and Leafs Nation faithful.
