Anyone out there ride? I'm thinking of getting a used Vulcan - likely a 900cc.

It's been 20+ years since I owned one.

Anyone else have one?

I desparately want an 800 or 900 Vulcan LT, but there's no way I can afford it now.

I have a Suzuki GZ250; just a baby bike, but I like it. For a small bike, it looks like a big bike. It's perfect for me as I just got my license 1.5 years ago. I'm definitely ready to move on to something bigger though.

I sat on a 2010 Vulcan LT in the Edmonton dealership (actually in Fort Saskatchewan) and I was so close to putting it on a VISA.  :P I would have enjoyed the ride back to Ontario, as it would be my last ride after my wife killed me.

I'm considering a Vulcan as well.  Likely a 900, but I'm not against picking up a 1700.  I'd be looking at something used, if I did buy.  No way I could afford a new one.  The Vulcans look so sweet!

I have 2 bikes that I ride regularly.  A 2006 Harley Softail Classic that I ride when my Wife wants to join me and a 2009 Yamaha V-Max that I ride when I want to relive my youth.  V-Max was a mistake purchase that scares the crap out of me!!!!

LOL - I'm seeing a bunch of Softails for sale, and a lot of Roadsters as well.  I'd kill myself on a VMax though ;)

Riding... I love it.... riding an 88 Honda VT1100... I also own a Suzuki GN125. I have my eye on a couple of Harley cruiser types, or a Vulcan Vaquero....

Good to hear from so many healthy bike riders.  Everyone I know has been disabled or killed.

I've seen my own death numerous times this past summer.  Suicidal moments, having surgery (twice) where I had to be intubated because of lack of oxygen, following surgeries.

If and when my number comes up, I wouldn't mind it being on a bike.  The vast majority of the bike deaths are wankers on crotch rockets.  I'll take my chances!

Riding a motorcycle made me a much better auto driver, that's for sure. Way more aware of everything. Everyone is as hazard until you clear them, period.
