This one scares me a bit, Edmonton is due for a big game.

It'll be fun seeing Matthews and Tavares go head to head with Draisaitl and McDavid.

You mean Tavares vs. Turris.

Coming off a couple of strong games for the Leafs. Let's not only dominate the play but also let's dominate the scoreboard. Thrilled to reduce the goal against the last couple of games.  Holl looks legit the last few. It would be nice to have some faith in the blue line for the first time in a while.

I feel like they always seem scary and end up being not as scary as we think.

I guess it's not that surprising but I didn't realize our record was so good against the McDavid-era Oilers.

Didn?t think I was going to get to watch this one but it?s on UK TV so here I am not getting enough sleep again

Have they changed ?all thy sons? to ?all of us? in the anthem?

Hadn?t caught that before

Yes few years ago now.

We just had a change to our (AUS) anthem.

Of course the boomers were outraged, even though the tradition they are trying to re-enforce only goes back to the 80s.

"Australians all let us rejoice, For we are one and free;"

It was changed from

"Australians all let us rejoice, For we are young and free;"

The original was thought to disrespect the 40,000 plus year history of the indigenous people.

The change is fair enough in my mind.

Why is the nice so bad in Toronto? Richest team that has no problem spending money should have the best ice in the league.

Interesting stuff on both. Can?t believe I hadn?t picked up on it before.

Fun start to the game. Two offensive juggernauts with a combined 5 shots in 8 minutes but some really watchable hockey  :D
