Opening Round:Winnipeg vs St.Louis

I?m willing to deviate a bit...

Jets in 7.  Going to be roughly an even series as both teams have their assets, which is why this series won?t be won easily.  Somehow, I think Winnipeg?s got that extra bit to go the distance, though most believe St.Louis does.  Could be.  We?ll see.

St. Louis in 5. No one talks about it because they aren't Toronto, but Winnipeg's record has been bad the past few months. They'll bow out early.

Their record has been bad but don't forget Big Buff and Josh Morrisey have been out for extended time. Both are back and that should be big for them. Should be a good series. St Louis can still take it tho.

Who knows? Patrick Laine might remember how to play hockey.

Funny, he had an absolute terrible season yet still scored 30 goals as a 20 year old.

7 in his last 50 games. He had a great start to the season, and then stopped playing.

I think the people who really don't like how the Leafs play would really like how Winnipeg plays.

Would have liked to keep Bozak around but not at 5 million per. I wonder if we had to do it all over again, would we prefer Bozak @5 mill over Kadri right now?

That's an interesting thing to bring up since Bozak as 3C last season had 43 points in 81 games and everyone seemed pretty happy with him in that role but Kadri puts up 44 points in 73 games and some people are literally asking "why he's on the team".

Bozak is also 33 this year vs Kadri @ 28.
