I think he's a little bit better than that. I mean, for starters, not being 34 years old is a start. I like to think of him as the next Alex Tanguay.

Parenteau actually played well fit the Isles.  They obviously found him expendable.  No big loss for the Isles here.

He's not playing with Tavares next year.  We'll see how his 49 assists make out.

If he was going to be such a big loss, why didn't the Isles re-sign him?  Obviously, they think they can replace him with some others in the line-up.
