Another mostly B-squad roster. Marincin and Sandin go again though, maybe that explains their limited minutes in the last game. The coaching staff might have wanted them fresh to play top pairing type minutes here.

Last chance for the Aberg/Agostino/Petan trio as well. Interesting that Shore's not here, probably means that he's already out of consideration. I think the writing is on the wall for those other 3 too but there's at least a 13th forward spot open until Hyman returns that one of them could battle for.

I have a decent idea how the defense will pair off but I have no idea what to do with that forward group.

Surprising he'd have Sandin/Marincin go tonight since they're also playing tomorrow night.  That is, if Babcock decides to dress the "regular" roster tomorrow night, maybe he doesn't?

The Wings are dressing a B team as well, so both teams will be using a mostly NHL roster for their final game tomorrow night. Some top prospects in Zadina, Veleno, and Svechnikov for the Wings. Also an all-former Leafs goalie duo.

Pretty sure this isn't what Agostino was expecting when he signed a 2-year deal here.

He signed here because of the 2 year guaranteed money. I'm betting there weren't a lot of offers on the table for him.

I bet this dials back down after tonight.

The fact that Tampa looks like the worst team in the league suggests to me that these charts, while fun, don't tell us much about what is going to happen in the regular season.  Though we can always hope!

Yeah it says next to nothing. Earlier charts had Leafs in the Dull section when we had half teams. Now that we're in NHL + Team Duress mode, the Leafs have been either working or skilling through preseason. Much of this particular chart's result is the Leafs steamrolling Montreal, and much of Tampa's position are the multiple games they got shut out.

Will Agostino clear waivers if he doesn't make the big team?....it would be nice to have him on the Marlies..he may be the first call-up in case of injury...

Lol shutout for sure

Edit: I agree with the coach here, but it's going to be a dry viewing experience.
