Unless Varlamov stands on his head, this will be a pretty quick series. This is likely to be the most lopsided series of the 1st round.

Varlamov won't play .... so it would have to be Bernier standing on his head

I'd say Jets over Minny will be, especially with the Wild losing Suter.

I think the Wild are a tougher out than many are thinking, even with Suter out.  They've got a great group of defensive forwards and good specialty teams.  They actually perform better in terms of quality of shots against with Suter off the ice but that might be because he's always playing the most talented opposition players. They can have trouble scoring though.  But, my assessment *also* hinges on Spurgeon actually being effective.  He just came off injury himself.

I dunno. Even without Suter, Minnesota is a very organized veteran team, while Winnipeg is still a young team without much playoff experience. I suspect they'll take a little longer to get into the rhythm of the playoffs, making the series a little closer.

Nashville vs Colorado is the other way around, and, with Varlamov out for the playoffs (apparently), I suspect they'll run over the less experienced Avs.

Singlehandedly keeping my pool results respectable.

A crappy Colorado team is able to extend against Nashville, and the Leafs are going out in 5.  Just great

I didn't hear any bell.

Keep the faith amigo.
They got an unexpected crazy goalie performance from Hammond, what have you seen from Andersen that makes you believe he won't be overwhelmed in the first 10 minutes tonight and give up 4 goals?
