Predators (C1) vs. Jets (C2)

Top two teams in the entire league facing off exactly where everyone expected them to... in the 2nd round.

Series starts Friday at 8pm.

Whoa, Winnipeg!

Jets rally back from 3-0 deficit to win it 7-4, and take a 2 games to 1 series lead.  Nicely done.

The more I watch Nashville, the worse their D actually looks. Maybe it's the Jets but they're coverage in the D zone isn't very good. So many times where guys aren't covered.

Dece.

Paul Maurice immediately checks the replay after the goal.  "I want to challenge that goal because it was far too sick to count"

Totally worth trading him for Erat. Totally.

It's funny that the two people who really orchestrated that trade for Washington (McPhee and MacLellan) are both in the conference finals.

And, both their teams could potentially be burned by Forsberg in these playoffs.

Jets did a good job. Not sure this series lived up to the hype tho. Renne was horrible and really, so was Hellboy.

Or not. Go Knights!

Rinne was a weird case study.  Great regular season, up and down playoffs.
Getting pulled 3 times, at home in a series is really really bad. I also think Nashville's D got exposed during this series. They weren't all that good. Turris was horrible....0 goals, 3 assists in 13 games. 6mill for 6 years coming up...

I pretty much feel you concede the game when you pull your starting goalie 11 minutes into the first period in a elimination game. A lack of confidence from the coach has to bleed down to the players.

Maybe the Sens could smell a Bobby Ryan 2.0?

Lav didn't have a choice tho when he pulled Rinne. He let in 2 horrible goals so he was trying to stop the bleeding. It wasn't good.
