That would require a pretty significant increase in his level of play over the next year and a half. As it stands right now, I wouldn't say he's close to be a lock to even being on the team.

Me too. As an aside, I think Ward's the most underrated goalie in the league. At least, you rarely hear chatter about him but he buoys that team up year after year.
