Game Notes

CBJ
?Merzlikins will likely start for the Blue Jackets
?Zach Werenski left game 4 in the 3rd period with an apparent upper body injury. It was reported that he had an MRI on Saturday. His status for game 5 is unknown at this point

TOR
?Andersen will start for the Leafs
?Keefe threw his line-up card into the blender a number of times in game 4 so it's tough to project what we'll see here. I just went with the default, boring option but don't be surprised to see the "All-Star" line back together at points

Injuries

?Zach Werenski - Upper Body - Questionable Sunday
?Josh Anderson - Shoulder - Injured Reserve
?Brandon Subinsky - Wrist - Injured Reserve
Code:

?Andreas Johnsson - Knee - Injured Reserve
?Jake Muzzin - Neck - Injured Reserve

Winner gets a banged up Tampa Bay in the First Round. If the Leafs manage to go deep in these playoffs we'll never forget the multiple empty net misses by Columbus in Game 4.

Go.

Leafs.

I remember in 2011, in the first round Boston and Montreal went to OT in Game 7.  I remember Montreal hit the post on an OT point shot, and Boston later scored the OT winner.  The Bruins  also went on to win the Cup that year.

The Bruins came within 2 inches of not only not winning the Cup that year, but also not even getting out of the first round!

Wishful thinking maybe, but I couldn't help but think of that when Columbus couldn't ice the game multiple times with an empty netter.

We need as much hope as we can get! Thanks for the anecdote [emoji846]

For the Gretzky double minor high stick that was never called
For the Mogilny miss coverage in game 6 conference
finals
For that Matt Fratin breakaway
For all game 7s against Boston in recent history

That come back friday should not be in vain.

Go Leafs Go.
