R.I.P. Phyllis Diller

She was the doyenne of comediennes.  A strange-looking, multi-colored, rag-tag of a lady who had an uncanniness for making routine comedic acts something to remember.

Good, clean, non-offensive comedy takes some effort, as witnessed over the decades to the likes of Red Skelton, Bob Hope, the Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts, comedy shows from the past, etc., etc. Of course, this was all from another era...

Phyllis Diller was still endeared to fans who remembered her, and by admirers, and those she inspired such as today's comediennes of the likes of Ellen DeGeneres, et al.

Thank you, Ms. Diller for entertaining fans for as long as you did.  And perhaps now "Fang" will have plenty to keep himself entertained with up there!

"AH-HHAAAAAAAAAAAA-HA-HA-HA!
