Nashville since the trade deadline: 6-8-3
Chicago since the trade deadline: 10-7-1 (lost 4 in a row to end the year scoring 5 goals)

I'm not sure where to put this one.  Kane coming back certainly gives the Blackhawks a boost but is he healthy enough to be a difference maker yet?  I'm not so sure.

Honestly though, how many series are there where it would be a genuine surprise if either team won? Maybe Ducks-Jets?

Yeah, I will be rooting for the Hawks in this one. Even though Nashville had the better record, I think they are the underdog based on prior playoff experience.

Antoine Vermette is going to be a healthy scratch for Chicago. They traded a 1st rounder for him at the deadline. He had just 3 points (all assists) in 19 regular season games for them.

Man, for a few more dollars they could have had Bozak.  :P

This is a series I'm not invested in enough to watch, but keenly interested in in terms of draft implications.

And Santorelli is a healthy scratch for Nashville (and Franson is day-to-day).

What's up with the Santorelli thing?  He looked like one of the better  Leafs forwards ....  Are the Leafs really that much worse than other teams up and down the lineup or is Santorelli just not fitting in?  They are playing Beck, Bourque ...

The intermission crew Sportsnet was using for this one was Millard, Cox, Shannon and Mclean. Just, I mean, good lord that's an awful group of humans.

Why would anybody give up a sandwich that they paid for to take a picture with a bunch of losers in awful Halloween costumes? Commercials are stupid.
