What a bum
should be traded
he's such a floater and doesn't show up for playoff games

wait, this isn't Nylander?

Come on Nylander would never have skated back behind his own net. He would have been floating up by the other teams blue line waiting for a pass.  ;D

How on earth is Dallas winning this series? The western games are usually on too late for me to stay up and watch so I haven't seen more than a period or two from this series so I'm really curious how the Avs aren't dominating. Is it crappy goaltending or are the Stars somehow out-hustling them?

Colorado destroying a team that shouldn't have been in the playoffs anyway in the first round may have caused people to overrate them a little bit.

Granted I am surprised that Dallas is winning this, but they're a good team as well. And maybe the fact that they had a more competitive first round actually helped too.

They lost Erik Johnson (25+ min) to injury and I?m guessing the lack of Tyson Barrie and Alex Kerfoot moving the puck out is keeping them a bit more hemmed in than they?d like. It?s apparently very important to have players who can move the puck out and into the OZ under control.

Ah yeah I forgot about the Johnson injury. Also lost Grubauer too (although the Stars are playing without Bishop).

Yeah, I remember that.  I also remember reading after that game that during the post-game interview Andersen said that this was the first time he and Nylander had met.

Yeah. The difference being that Dallas has a very good, experienced backup who is performing adequately in the playoffs in Khudobin, whereas Colorado a still very good, but inexperienced (at least, in terms of NHL games) backup in Francouz, who has not performed well in the playoffs.

I thought Johnson sucked?  Or was that the other Johnson?

Jack (other) definitely sucks. Erik never lived up to the hype of being a 1st overall, potential #1 defenceman but he's still a reliable 2/3/4 guy.

MacKinnon has 25 points in 14 play-in/playoff games.

If we look at just the playoff games he has 22 points in 11 games.

He's played 0 games where he's been left off the scoresheet.

In 8 of his 11 playoff games he's scored more than 1 point.

MacKinnon is a beast! Now can they take it all the way and win game 7 with their 3rd string goalie, Hutch in net?
