Game Notes

ott
?sens goalie situation is a bit up in the air. Anderson is practicing but might not be ready to return to the line-up and Hammond seems to have sustained a bit of an injury, so 20-year old Chris Driedger (3.78 GAA, .885 Sv% in the ECHL) might get the start

TOR
?Reimer will start for the Leafs
?Kadri will return to the line-up after serving his 4 game suspension, thankfully the league didn't tack any additional games onto the original decision after the fact
?McKegg and MacWilliam have been sent back down to the Marlies, and Brennan has been brought back up

Injuries

?Andrew Hammond - Leg - Questionable Saturday
?Craig Anderson - Hand - Questionable Saturday
?Robin Lehner - Concussion - Injured Reserve
?Matt Puempel - Ankle - Injured Reserve
?Milan Michalek - Concussion - Questionable Saturday
?Chris Neil - Thumb - Injured Reserve
?Chris Phillips - Rest - Injured Reserve

The Leafs will likely introduce their newest signing during tonight's game as well:

Another small undersized forward.  I always like these feel good stories.

Heard Gamble and Booth got into it at the morning meeting...Booth said "it was good to see that".

Pretty classy move by the Leafs to sign that one-day contract.  Now, an even classier move would be to create a symbolic place in the lineup for Garrett and go with 4 skaters to Ottawa's 5.

I hate the Sens, but go Sens?  It's hard to believe one of Anderson or Hammond wouldn't be in the net tonight given how tenuous their hold is on that last wildcard spot.  Injured or not, I expect to see one of them play.

I probably should have waited 5 minutes for their morning skate to start. Anderson and Driedger took part, no Hammond. Signs point to Anderson starting though.

Pretty sure we need you to turn in your GDT credentials.

I had an actual nightmare about this game and next Saturday's that was so purely awful that I dare not speak it out loud in case it actually happens (because, you know, I have that kind of power).

Behold the power of stickytape,  I actually have a horrible feeling about tonights game. Kessel is riled and may take it out on the Sens.

I'm pretty sure I'll watch this on a continuous loop rather than the game tonight.

Top Gear fan Joe?

I'm disappointed, but I think those boys' time on cable TV was coming to an end anyways...I'd love to see them do something on Netflix.

I'm a fan. But the bbc did the right thing what clarkson did was inexcusable.

However. I will miss this:

I'm most interested in seeing how Kadri plays tonight, will probably watch the first period and then find something else to do.
