Man, I'm firmly in the lose every game this season camp, but I'd really like to see the Leafs win this one. Toronto, Saturday night, the hated Sens. It would be nice to have a few feel-good moments sprinkled into the terrible season this is going to be.

GO Leafs GO!!

I think we discussed this earlier this year, but I absolutely do not want to lose to the habs, and to a lesser extent the sens.

I have no problems losing to Detroit and Buffalo, hell even Boston can smoke them for all I care.  But please, just don't lose to the f***ing habs.

Last night was horrific. I expect the same tonight (Ok I'm hoping for it) but I'd like to see Kadri score some goals and Reimer look better than Bernier, which can't be too hard right?

What is up with grabner and why isn't he playing?  I thought he was supposed to be a pretty good goal scorer on a team with very few goal scorers...

Who does everyone think the greatest player in the world will be tonight? Karlsson? Hoffman? Lazar? Zack Smith?

Well, I guess the easy answer is that he hasn't been all that good a goal scorer in some time. In the last few years he's certainly not particularly ahead of any of the other stiffs in the line-up in that regard.

Other than his 30 goal season, he's averaged about 20 goals and 35 points per 82 games. That's obviously not bad, but it's not exactly great either. There's a good reason why the Islanders were basically expecting him to be in their press box most nights and were happy to take on some of the Leafs' excess contracts so they wouldn't have to pay his salary.

Definitely Karlsson with his smooth, smooth skating and Hoffman, the young sensation currently tied for 5th in the league in assists.

It sure sounded like they were playing that Tim Thompson video at the ACC.

Yeah Mark Masters tweeted that they did. They also played it before the opening night game. Pretty cool.

Grabner in for Matthias (day-to-day with upper body injury). Polak comes in for Harrington.

I thought we might see Corrado in tonight, but perhaps more time to learn Babcock's systems?

Eh. I say this knowing it's a little ridiculous but I really feel like the organization shouldn't get it's fingers over it. Its like "Hey, here's all the crap we put you through".

I can't wait til we play Calgary and "18-year-old" Sam Bennett.
