Uhh I can't fix the title. Carlton please

Class act and glad he's staying with the team. Time catches up to everyone. Thanks for your commitment Jason.

Very sad to see him go. I hope it was on his own terms, and I know that it was always a case he would retire if he wasn?t going to remain a Leaf.

I?d have been happy to see him back as a 13th forward if that had been an option.

I anticipate him being a GM somewhere in the next few years and he?ll be excellent at it.

Rats!  I was hoping he could hit 1000pts and get a Stanley Cup as a player.

Scoring 12 goals and 13 assists on very few minutes per game I was thinking that he could squeak a few more points out next season.

When you Modify the original post, can?t you edit the Subject field?
Maybe on a laptop but I use Tapatalk on mobile and it was giving me errors trying to fix the title. Guess I could have tried Chrome but I knew CTB had my back like a real gud pro

The right move.  Too many guys try to hang on for a year or two beyond when they should have.

I just thought he was a doofus when he signed here and wasn't happy about it.  Boy, was I wrong.  He was value for money.

My heart wanted him back, but the head knew this was the right call. It's just a number but damn shame he couldn't make it to 1000 points. What an unbelievable impact he had on the franchise and fanbase in such a short time with the team, especially at this point of his career. Certainly not "raise it up to the rafters" worthy but I definitely think players should be thinking twice about wearing #19 for the next while.

The real shame of it is that absent the lockouts he's probably a 400+ goal, 1100 point player with a stronger on-paper HOF case. Although those extra points would have been for the Sens so...

Anyways, sucks that the Leafs couldn't give him a better send-off but happy he's sticking around in the organization. Definitely a guy who did a complete 180 for me in terms of my feelings about him.
