The Diary of a Locked-Out NHLer

Didn't see this posted. Worth a chuckle.

The Barnstormer has secured the cooperation of a locked-out NHL player who has agreed to document each day he is kept out of action on the condition that we do not reveal his identity. Ever.

This is great!  He certainly likes to talk about his weiner a lot.  I wonder who it is?  (some clues to being a player from BC, but even that isn't for sure)

I'm going to go out on what I believe to be a pretty solid and steady limb here, and say that the player in question is imaginary and the whole this a pretty obvious work of fiction.

Not only that, but the layout of it is terrible. You have to go to separate pages to view individual days for something that is pretty uninteresting? At least make the user experience seamless.

The idea is great; the execution not so much. Woulda been better off in the hands of someone like DownGoesBrown.

I was thinking that as well. I desperately wanted what I read to be more interesting, more humorous and more entertaining. There are a lot of obvious jokes in there and a lot of shots at low-hanging fruit, and not enough well thought out, cerebral or well crafted jokes.
