R1: Winnipeg Jets (C1) vs. St. Louis Blues (WC2)

I didn't see any weak goals. Saw all the goals but didn't watch the whole game. From what I saw of it, it looked like Winnipeg deserved the result.
The winning goal on Binnington was impossible to save.

There is only one guy in the NHL right now who is better than Ovi with one timers from the office.....and that's Kyle Connor. The guy let it rip so hard I thought he would break the twine.

Winnipeg dominated that third period and deserved the win. A little bit of rough stuff at the end too. Good start for the Jets, only their third comeback win being down after 2 this season.

Binnington came across pretty quickly but Connor buried it before he could get all the way across. That puck was on its way almost before it got to Connor. He timed it perfectly.

Tonight's game is scoreless in the first, but the crowd appears to be just sitting on their hands.

Crazy how that goes - Jets with two strong performances and then get run out of St. Louis by a combined score of 11-3. Hellebuyck got chased again. That graphic herman shared is very telling - a guy who gets it done in the regular season but comes up short when it matters.

Hmmmmmm, this sounds vaguely familiar.
