Goal 1: forced DZ turnover to counter rush chance
Goal 2: forced OZ turnover to mini odd-man ‘rush’
Goal 3: PP forced OZ turnover to net crash
Goal 4: forced OZ turnover to odd-man mini rush
Forcing the defense to change directions and getting the puck behind them makes the scoring opportunity way more dangerous than trying to ticky tacky the puck around and through a set defense. Gotta do the hard and somewhat thankless stuff that puts defenses into a situation that leads to mistakes.

Fun stat from this game:
Nylander played 18:49 in his return from the lower body issue and was the only player in the whole game to have 0 shot attempts.
Took a couple of shifts with Knies-Tavares and tipped them from good to dominant (see 2-2 goal).
Max Domi scored two big goals, but only when he was either mid-line change or getting a spot shift up the lineup. If his listed linemates were on with him, they got scored on instead.
